COLU - NOWHERE BOY Album Tour - Sydney - Valve Bar - 18+

September 8, 2019

Melbourne-based dark pop duo COLU are hitting the road in support of their debut album NOWHERE BOY.

Unconventionally prolific for Australian musicians, COLU are set to release their first album only months into their career. The boys have made waves around Australia with singles SCHOLAR, SLUMP and INTENTIONS, amassing over 50,000 streams on the road to their debut full-length.

On the album, vocalist James explores the homelessness he experienced at age 17, struggles fitting in with peers and the perplexing difficulties of romance as a young adult. This vivid storytelling is cast upon the polished but bold backdrop of Kieran’s production. With a wash of ambience, hard-hitting drums and breakdowns everywhere, it’s an album that leaves the listener craving more.

James and Kieran are bringing their unique blend of ambient, hip-hop and pop around the country, playing in intimate venues along the east and south coast.

Opening each night will be underground R&B artist PRAX. Drawing inspiration from The Weeknd and Frank ocean, PRAX’s tunes are suffocated with ambience and melancholy. At the astonishing young age of 17, PRAX has an incredibly promising future ahead.
